Driving Directions

FROM THE NORTH:
From I-87 Northway South, take Exit 7 East Toward Troy.
Take I-787 South toward Albany.
Take the Clinton Avenue Exit 4B and follow to the end (at the red light).
Turn Right onto Broadway.
Quackenbush Square and our Ticket Booth will be on the Right.

FROM THE EAST:
From the Massachusetts Turnpike:
Take I-90 West toward Albany.
Take NYS Thruway Exit 23.
Take I-787 N to Exit 4 (Clinton Avenue).
Follow the Clinton Avenue Exit to the end (at the red light).
Turn Right onto Broadway.
Quackenbush Square and our Ticket Booth will be on the Right.

FROM THE EAST:
From East Greenbush and other points East off I-90:
Take I-90 West toward Albany.
Take I-787 South.
Take Exit 4B (Clinton Avenue).
Follow the Clinton Avenue Exit to the end (at the red light).
Turn Right onto Broadway.
Quackenbush Square and our Ticket Booth will be on the Right.

FROM THE WEST:
Take I-90 East toward Albany.
Take NYS Thruway Exit 24.
Continue on I-90 East for approx 4 miles.
Merge onto I-787 S toward Albany/Rensselaer.
Take Exit 4B (Clinton Avenue).
Follow the Clinton Avenue Exit to the end (at the red light).
Turn Right onto Broadway.
Quackenbush Square and our Ticket Booth will be on the Right.

FROM THE SOUTH:
Take 87 N (Northway) to Exit 23 of NYS Thruway
Take I-787 N to Exit 4 (Downtown Albany)
Follow the Clinton Avenue Exit to the end (at the light).
Take a Right onto Broadway.
Quackenbush Square and our Ticket Booth will be on your Right.

PARKING:
An Albany Parking Authority public pay parking lot (www.parkalbany.com) is available for our guests in the rear of Quackenbush Square. It can be accessed by going north Broadway from our booth, east on Spencer Street, after which you can follow the signs. There is metered parking on the streets in the area, and the Albany Parking Authority maintains a large pay indoor lot on Orange Street, one block from our departure site. To utilize that lot, you travel south on Broadway from the intersection of Clinton Avenue and turn east on Orange Street. There are visible signs directing you to the parking lot.

RESTROOMS:
For your convenience and comfort, restrooms are available at the Visitors Center and the C. H. Evans Brewing Company at the Albany Pump Station Restaurant. We encourage our guests to take advantage of them prior to your tour.

VISITORS CENTER:
If you arrive early or following your tour, you can enjoy the exhibits and video at the Visitors Center.

RECOMMENDED ATTIRE:
We recommend wearing flat shoes. For spring and fall tours, consider wearing an extra layer of clothing.

Tickets are not refundable nor transferable to another tour.
